Renu Chalasani, MD
I graduated from LSU Medical School and did my residency at Tulane. My journey brought me to Austin during my time at Baylor University, where I fell in love with this vibrant city and knew I wanted to return after my residency.
As a board-certified OB/GYN with over 25 years of experience in private practice, I am deeply committed to women’s health. I am also a proud member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in menopause care.
On a personal note, I am 57 years old and have navigated nearly every menopause symptom firsthand. I struggle to find time to exercise, eat healthy, spend time with girlfriends, and get enough sleep.
This personal experience, combined with my professional expertise, drives my passion for helping others through this phase of life. And like most of you, my life is packed with responsibilities. I find myself busier than ever, working full-time, married, and starting this business. I am a mother of boy/girl twins who are starting their senior year. I am also mother to the most loved member of the family Barley, our 3-year-old Aussie doodle. I do volunteer work with the National Charity League and Young Men’s Service League.
